How hearing aids become all-round wireless phone headsets

The revolutionary natural sound of Signia Nx will soon be available in combination with direct connectivity to any Bluetooth device – phone, PC or laptop. The new StreamLine Mic, available early this year, transforms Signia Nx devices with Bluetooth connectivity into more than state-of-the-art hearing aids.

In the run-up to its launch, we take a closer look at three key advantages of StreamLine Mic. Firstly, StreamLine Mic turns our state-of-the-art hearing aids into a hands-free mobile headset. Wearers can stream phone calls via Bluetooth as well as online calls such as Skype and WhatsApp. Our hearing aids stream these calls into both ears so wearers can understand their conversation partner as clearly as possible.

Wearers can accept these calls without having to take their phone out of their pocket. Even while streaming sound from their TV into their hearing aids via our StreamLine TV accessory, the wearer can instantly take calls without having to turn off the TV sound manually.

StreamLine Mic will offer the ideal accessory to provide the most advanced hearing aid platform with hands-free calls from smartphones, PCs and laptops.

In the next blogpost, we will examine how StreamLine Mic also turns our hearing aids into wireless stereo headphones for music, videos, podcasts and audiobooks.
